Linear Mixed Model (LMM)
Analyze data with both fixed and random effects using Linear Mixed Model. This model assumes that the effect of a fixed effect (eg genotype) on response variable (eg. yield) might be different depending on the Location. For example, Genotype A might be the best in Location 1, but Genotype B might be the best in Location 2. This model is ideal if you want to find the best-performing genotype for each specific location.
In case you want to just measure the average effect of each genotype use Alpha Lattice Design.
